Clayton Entrepreneurship Club is a monthly roundtable discussion and community-building initiative for our entrepreneur-minded members. Each month focuses on a specific topic (i.e. fundraising, digital marketing, partnerships, etc.) with an expert in this area to help facilitate the discussion. The goal of Entrepreneurship Club is to foster an open and supportive space for our members to discuss opportunities and challenges they are facing in their ventures. It is open to all levels of entrepreneurs; from those with an idea to those currently running a business and beyond.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness month, our Club discussion for May will feature business owner and mental health professional Marisol Solarte-Erlacher. Marisol will lead us in a discussion around mental health strategies for entrepreneurs including optimizing our headspace for innovation and avoiding burnout!

About Marisol Solarte-Erlacher:

Marisol Solarte-Erlacher, M.A., LPC is an award-winning trauma expert, keynote speaker and corporate consultant. She is also the creator and host of the podcast Resilience and Resistance, which features successful Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color who have overcome trauma and become resilient. The Resilience and Resistance Podcast was a finalist for the Colorado Podcast Awards for Best New Podcast.

Marisol started her work as a psychotherapist providing bilingual and culturally-resonant services to the Latine/x community. She facilitates programming that strengthens employee resilience and enhances team performance. She works with nonprofit organizations, mid-sized corporations and public service entities.

Marisol is the President-Elect of the EMDRIA International Board of Directors and was a former co-chair of the Denver Women’s Commission through the City of Denver Mayor’s Office. She (sometimes foolishly) loves mountain adventures, live music, spending time with the Chicana Book Club and making her own vanilla lattes.
