Mahjong is officially making its way to Clayton.
Rocky Mountain Mahjong is pleased to offer members and their guests a series of 3 Beginner Mahjong lessons.
Monday, September 16, from 6-9 pm: In the first lesson students will spend one hour learning the basics of American Mahjong, and 2 hours playing Mahjong with assistance. Attending the first lesson in this series is required.
Monday, September 23, from 6-8 pm: During the second lesson students will begin playing more challenging hands and will learn additional Mahjong rules.
Monday, September 30, from 6-8 pm: In the final lesson, students will learn how to effectively pivot, and practice more advanced strategy & defense.
This is a beginner lesson series, designed for those with zero to very limited knowledge of the game. The 2024 NMJL card is included with this class and will be taught by Avery, Caroline & Claudia. We play exclusively on the luxury tiles from The Mahjong Line.
