Come join Denver artist Kristina Davies for an immersive experience with collage. Collage describes both the technique and the resulting work of art in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric and other materials are arranged and glued down to canvas or wood. In this workshop, Kristina will demonstrate how to take painted papers (the ones you will be creating in class), and turn them into templates and materials for collage.
Materials include water-soluble acrylic paint, pastels, markers, graphite, and glue. This class is for ALL levels. Novice to practicing artists welcomed!
Important: Please bring other materials you would like to use in your collage; for example, pages from old books, printed copies of photographs, scraps of fabric, pages from magazines, etc.
