About Parker Thomas:
Parker grew up watching his papa Dewey and dad shape cowboy hats but never felt like cowboy hats were entirely his passion. He remembers the first time his grandpa showed him how to steam and shape a hat. The family aspect of this trade and carrying on his family’s tradition of custom hat making and shaping is very important to Parker. Working at rodeos with his family showed him how rewarding it is to make custom hats for people just as unique as they are.
Parker says, “ I love that a hat can tell a story about a person. It’s hard to capture the full depth of a person, but a hat can be a fun way to tell your unique story. I’ve shaped hats at the NFR Rodeo and also at Paris Fashion Week. I love the country, but I also love the city; I love hip hop music, and I can also get down to some country music too! Hats have helped me tell my unique story and I’m stoked to get to make you a hat that can help tell yours.”
About Ella James:
Designer Ella James has been featured in many high end boutiques in Denver, selling her One of a Kind Derby hats for celebrations in and around the area. Snag one of her pieces before she heads off to the races in Kentucky to hat the ladies at the Race!
Ella says, “If I can promise you anything about the hats I make: They are not boring! Each one is made with a story and I have so much fun making them all!”
