Award-winning author and lawyer Jeffrey Kass is hosting a panel discussion on how we can eradicate unconscious bias that lives deep within each of us. Moderator Barbara Brooks will engage Jeffrey and panelists Dr. Ryan Ross and MiDian Holmes-Luckett in a challenging yet impactful discussion on navigating this often ignored issue so we can better our world when it comes to race. If you’re up for learning something new about race, this is the event.
Jeffrey is a Pushcart Prize Literary nominee and a top 50 writer on racism, diversity, education and history on the largest writer’s platform, Medium. He’s the author of three books, including his latest, “Black Batwoman v. White Jesus,” which confronts unconscious bias. Dr. Ryan Ross is a community activist, educator and CEO of The Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado, which trains the next generation of Black leaders. MiDian Holmes-Luckett is the CEO and Founder of Epitome of Black Excellence and Partnership and a diversity trainer and consultant. Barbara Brooks is the founder of SecontActWomen, which combats gendered ageism.
